Filling diem® premium care app Prescriptions

Once your pharmacy is integrated with the diem® premium care app, you can receive prescriptions from patients that use the mobile app. When you open the prescription in the ‘New Prescription’ window, you will be able to identify whether the patient has enrolled in the diem® premium care app program at your pharmacy.

  • If the patient name is highlighted green, the patient has enrolled at your pharmacy.
  • If the patient name is highlighted red, the patient has not enrolled at your pharmacy.

In order to fill prescriptions from the diem® premium care app program, your pharmacy has the option to do one of the following from the ‘New Prescription’ window:

  • Use the Process button to immediately process and fill the prescription.
  • Use the To Do button to place the prescription on the Workbench > To Do tab.

If you select the To Do button, the prescription is placed on the To Do button for the date it is to be filled. Web Refill requests can be identified on the Workbench with a W in the priority column. Pharmacies can then fill the prescription for the patient and put it aside, ready for patient pickup. If the patient flags the prescription for pickup or delivery, it will be indicated in the P/D column on the To Do tab, along with the indicated time.

Note: A disclaimer is displayed to all patients, recommending they wait at least 4 hours before picking up the prescription from the pharmacy.
